Enhancing Leadership Skills

Enhancing Leadership 101 is a leadership program to establish the core principles of effectiveness for managers and leaders while building on your organization’s values. The course offers flexibility with duration and content to meet the needs of your organization. Three popular areas of focus are Leadership Practices Inventory, Supervisory Leadership and High Potential Leadership.

The LPI® is a 360-degree leadership assessment tool designed to help individuals measure their leadership competencies, while guiding them through a process of applying the Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® model to real-life organizational challenges. Participants receive a Feedback Report that focuses on behaviors related to the Five Practices and compares their view of themselves to that of raters who have been given the opportunity to evaluate and comment on their observable behaviors. Following the session on the Leadership Practices Inventory, participants will create a Development Plan to increase their effectiveness as leaders.

The Supervisory Leadership focus provides new or in-experienced leaders with the fundamentals of leadership. Participants will gain an understanding of key leadership competencies to increase their effectiveness as powerful communicators, productive team members, and inspiring leaders. Some sample topics for this workshop include Communication Skills, Meeting Effectiveness, Conflict Management and Interviewing Skills.

Who should attend?

The High Potential Leadership course is for employees that have been identified to be a good candidate for leadership training. The course gives the high potential employees a foundation about leadership and the necessary skills to be an influential presenter.
