Managing Change

The Managing Change course was developed for two audiences – managers or individual contributors.

Change Management for Managers

Participants will be introduced to tips and tools to increase their effectiveness as leaders in the context of workplace change. This session is designed to build understanding of the key elements of the change process so that they can actively navigate through the continuous shifts in the workplace environment. This is an interactive session that utilizes lecturettes, small and large group activities to increase knowledge, practice the techniques, and reinforce concepts.

Change Management for Individual Contributors

Participants will be introduced to tips and tools to increase their effectiveness during times of organizational change. These sessions are designed to build understanding of the key elements of the change process so that they can actively navigate through the continuous shifts in the workplace environment. This is an interactive session that utilizes lecturettes, small and large group activities to increase knowledge, practice the techniques, and reinforce concepts.

Training Content

Change Management for Managers Objectives:

  • Recognize the challenges, risks and opportunities created during organizational change
  • Understand the manager’s roles and responsibilities during organizational change
  • Learn tools and techniques on how to manage and guide employees through change while maintaining productivity, morale, and engagement

Change Management for Individual Contributors Objectives:

  • Recognize the challenges, risks and opportunities created during organizational change
  • Understand their role and responsibilities during organizational change to positively impact the process
  • Learn tools and techniques on how to support and guide other employees through change while maintaining productivity, morale, and engagement
