Course description

Creating Team Harmony

This two-day workshop focuses on key success factors for influencing team members to work together to produce results. Successful leadership skillfully influences others by aligning and motivating them to creatively meet or exceed requirements, particularly in times of scarcity (time, money, resources).

Participants will examine key emotional intelligence concepts of self-awareness and sensitivity to others. They explore an individual’s contributions and performance versus team dynamics and collaboration. Discussions, role play, and small group exercises also investigate various motivation, delegation, and managing-up techniques.

Individuals and team members in all positions and at all levels can benefit from this course.

Training Content

learning objectives: 

  • Describe the dimensions of emotional intelligence and personal preferences.
  • Gain and fundamental understanding of human team dynamics.
  • Describe the core facilitating and influencing skills needed for a team to achieve a common goal.

Course Prework

As prework, each participant may take an online Emotional Intelligence Assessment to evaluate five dimensions: self-perception, self-expression, interpersonal, decision making, and stress management.
