Emerging Leaders Certificate Program

CEG's Emerging Leaders Certificate Program is an integrated training program designed for recently promoted managers and other high potentials ready to foster the leader within and build a foundation for professional excellence. Through a combination of instructor-led training sessions — offered in both online and traditional classroom formats, pre- and post-session assignments, team activities, interim group coaching forums, action planning and more you will:

  • Build a strong foundation of leadership skills.
  • Make better business decisions.
  • Learn how to optimize team performance.
  • Bring out the best in the people you hire.
  • Learn how to identify and implement new opportunities.

The Emerging Leaders Certificate Program takes a fresh approach to leadership development by engaging participants well beyond the classroom. Two weeks prior to the start of the program, participants will complete a comprehensive assessment to set a baseline for your leadership growth and receive their first pre-session assignments. During the first session, participants are placed into teams that will work together on extracurricular activities for the duration of the program. With instructor-led sessions every third week, you have two weeks in between to complete a variety of pre- and post-session work and participate in team virtual activities and group coaching forums.

Upon successful completion of the Emerging Leaders Certificate Program and passing the certification exam, you will earn a certificate of completion along with the credential of Certified CEG Emerging Leader (CEG-eL). The Certification Final Exam is administered within 5 business days of completion of the full program.

  • Newly hired first-line leader with 0-4 years of experience and/or no formal training
