American Sign Language Certificate Program: Intermediate

This course is designed for anyone who wants to expand their basic understanding of ASL. During our Intermediate course you will be going into a higher depth of knowledge from what was taught in our fundamentals course. Learning a language is a continuation of building blocks. Intermediate takes the units taught in Fundamentals and expands on grammar, conversation, fluency. You will be most efficient in this course if you have a working camera on your device. You will be instructed during the classes to turn them on so teacher can visually see you using the language. American Sign Language is a visual language; being seen is the best way to learn and to be taught the language! What you will learn: Hold a higher thought conversation; Work on receptive skills: interpreting basic videos; Ask more in depth questions; Work on Fluency and Speed; Continue with expanding our vocabulary with new units and topics
