CPDM3 Management of Integrated Disability and Absence (IDAM) Management
Understand the importance of the link between disability and absence management programs, and employee and health care management to the long term efficacy of your integrated disability and absence management plan. This course uses real-life scenarios to challenge students with assessment, coordination and monitoring of options and services available to manage complex claims. Learn to evaluate available options that promote legally compliant, quality and cost-effective outcomes that provide a seamless experience for both the employee and manager. This course is the third component in the Certified Professional in Disability Management certification.

- Identify and assess perplexing issues of disability and absence case management
- How to effectively promote employee participation through evidence based lifestyle modification
- Understand the importance of clearly identifying escalation criteria and leveraging vendor resources for complex and catastropic case management.
- Evaluate and refine the IDAM program goals and objectives based on data.
- Learn the significance and components of SAW/RTW in IDAM, the importance of leadership and stakeholder buy-in, and how the program is an effective business strategy for reducing absences while supporting employees work capabilities, time off needs, and benefits.
