Leadership that Works
For 20 years, Leadership that Works has been developing coaches who spark transformational change in their clients, their organizations and their communities. We define coaching as “a partnership that maximizes human potential.” As a coach, you will empower individuals and organizations to meet the pressing challenges of our time with new levels of creativity, sensitivity and awareness.
Our curriculum is based on years of research and experience, field-tested by some of the most successful coaches in the world. Our faculty spans around the globe, which means you get to learn from facilitators who embrace diversity and model building strong connections across differences.
Our team of thought leaders and master coaches consistently push the edges of the coaching field—emphasizing cultural awareness and social change while standing on the foundation of a holistic coaching approach. We go beyond theories and models and develop coaches who work with clients on a deeper level. You will be part of a dynamic learning community that builds trust, gives inspirational feedback and supports each other’s development as coaches and human beings. You will collaborate with both faculty and peers to create a safe environment where you can take risks, spread your wings and soar as a coach.
Our faculty are uniquely qualified to train across many sectors:
- Nonprofits, social justice and peacemakers
- Executives, managers and team leaders
- Social workers, therapists, counselors, holistic leaders
- Visionary leaders and social entrepreneurs
- Human resources staff and organizational development consultants
Leadership that Works’ programs are recognized by the International Coach Federation (ICF). For certification you can choose Coaching for Transformation, a 9-month ICF accredited coach training program, or the Community Coaching Certification program, an ICF approved coach specific hour training program. Alternately, you can start with a shorter, introductory program. If you’re already a certified coach, our advanced trainings provide ongoing learning to deepen your capacity as a coach and often qualify for ICF continuing coach education.
You can attend public programs in-person or online, or schedule an onsite training at your organization.
