Module Five: Regulation, Accreditation and Continuous Readiness
The objectives of this module are to:1. Review regulatory agencies and the impact of regulations on healthcare quality and safety.2. Understand accreditation, the value of accreditation, the accreditation process and examples of agencies offering accreditation.3. Examine continuous readiness activities including leadership commitment, individual accountability, organizational assessment and survey procedures.
