Program management is the centralized, coordinated management of a program to achieve the program’s strategic benefits and objectives, the standard for Program Management. By definition, program management addresses systemic issues and focuses on business and strategic aspects of projects and programs that cannot be resolved at the project management level. DAY 5: Overview and Case Study

The overview and case study day allows the participants to review the topics that have been taught during the training, as well as to enact out a program from strategic selection, planning, execution and closure. The participants work in teams during the day and follow a structure that models the types of decisions and hence questions related to the PgMP exam. During the case study the teams will produce key program document deliverables (artifacts) and manage the types of internal and external influences on a program. The case study builds on the knowledge gained from the first four days of the course.
