Learn the negotiona skills for creating common ground and reaching mutually beneficial solutions. Here participants will also examine how to chair meetings that are productive and bare fruit.

Emotional intelligence (EI) and body language

Verbal communication is not the only way we make ourselves heard. Emotional Intelligence requires an astute awareness of signals hiden within the gestures and body language of others. In this topic delegates will examin the guiding principals of EI, and how to utilize this knowledge for reaching business objectives and team development. 


Being assertive without being agressive or leaning on authoriy creates a significant challenge for most management teams. Here delegates will examine how assertiveness manifests in both positive and negative ways and what skills are required. Learniing to be assertive without an excessive display of authority presents real challenges for management. Course material will focus on appropriate responses fro assertive, passive, and aggressive people as well as how to handle difficult situations and people, and how to both construct and recieve feedback in a positive way.
