Train the Trainer

Have you been tasked with building stronger teams, transforming communication between managers and employees, or building better relationships with customers? Work with us to offer a live, virtual train-the-trainer program to your internal trainers and SME’s and get the skills you need to deliver the high-level results your company and clients demand.

Our Train the Trainer programs are specifically designed to give you the knowledge and steps you need to build your own workshops and training programs with ease. We focus on teaching you best practices in program development, design and delivery that will turn you into a rock star trainer and facilitator and get your clients better results.

PRC works in partnership with you to customize a Train the Trainer Program that aligns with your strategy, vision and values and incorporates your identified expectations and competencies for your learners. This program will establish benchmark data on confidence, skill and effectiveness levels and provide your learners with the resources and knowledge to feel more confident in their subject matter expert role, improve their facilitation and training skills as well as help them to practice adaptability, inclusion and in the moment feedback.

    • Walk through a 9 steps instructional design and methods process to learn how to develop learning materials

    • Outline a task list, sub-tasks and steps
      • Mind Mapping Activity
    • Design testing and evaluation methods
    • How to select the right instructional method
      • The use of job aids
    • Understanding a lesson plan format
  • Prepare a learning strategy and create a training outline
  • Develop your facilitator action plan
    • How to lay out a learning strategy template
    • Designing a lesson plan
    • Evaluating learner reactions
  • Fieldwork Activity: Design and develop a learning strategy and lesson plan for their respective training topic.
  • Practice Facilitation Activity: Participants will present their learning strategy and lesson plan and engage in a 15-minute training topic with the group and receive 10-15 minutes of feedback from the PRC facilitator and peers.

Certification / Credits

Objectives of the program will include:

  • Understand adult learning principles and how adults learn most effectively

  • Identify instructional methods and design that meet the needs of the learners
  • Layout a learning strategy and create a training outline
  • Practice principles learned and receive feedback

  • a wider utilization and application of skills learned in XYZ Services workshops
  • increase trainer/facilitator confidence and knowledge on how to deliver great workshops
  • solid content that teaches key business skills and leadership skills across the organization
