Most leaders find themselves spending their time micro-managing their under-performers, instead of driving growth in their average-to-high performing team members. The truth is that management is the delicate balance of managing performance improvement efforts of under-performers, working to develop your average-performers, and driving greater outcomes from your high performing team members.
