Course description
Design thinking is a key tool that your training organization should be using to address the changing business needs of your current and future workforce. By adopting this Agile, solution-based methodology, you will learn to deeply understand the problem(s) at hand, and arrive more quickly at innovative solutions, all while continuously gaining buy-in from key stakeholders.
This highly interactive half-day workshop will prepare you, as a learning manager, to use design thinking as a key tool for diagnosing business problems and delivering innovative learning solutions that solve them. During this workshop, we will define design thinking, discuss why it’s a valuable tool for training organizations today and practice how to apply design thinking within your organization.

Training content
After taking part in this four-hour virtual workshop, you will be able to:

- Discuss a design thinking process that will offer you a deeper understanding of business problems and help you identify innovative learning solutions to solve them.
- Practice using design thinking to determine a learning management solution to a problem at your organization.

Certification / Credits
Training Industry Workshops are valid for five PDCs for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, 3.50-4.00 general recertification credit hours toward a PHR™, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi®, and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®) and fulfill four CPTM recertification credit hours.
