Values In Action
TrainSMART's "Values in Action" workshop is a virtual instructor-led training program that focuses on helping participants understand and implement their organization's core values.
The workshop emphasizes the importance of psychological safety, encouraging participants to share their personal truth and voice their perspectives on the core values in action. Participants will learn the importance of actively listening to others and defining the behaviors that will guide collaborative work in a virtual organization.
The workshop also covers the skills needed to tell an aligned story of the values to both internal and external audiences. The goal of the workshop is to help participants understand the role of values in their organization and to equip them with the skills they need to put these values into action.
By participating in this workshop, individuals will learn how to align their own behaviors with the organization's values and how to create a culture that supports and fosters these values.

Training content
Session 1
- Program overview
- Employee reflection assignment – note core value stories in your part of the organization
- Select a story and an object (picture, icon, or symbol) that helps convey the essence of the story
Session 2
- Virtual storytelling – bringing the values in action to life
- Personal story recording on a smartphone
- Submit the video story to the TrainSmart editor
Session 3
- Debut stories on a virtual video call
